PLEDGE 1

India is my Country.
All Indians are my brothers and sisters.
I love my country and I am proud of its rich and varied heritage.
I shall always strive to be worthy of it.
I shall respect my parents, teachers and all elders
And treat everyone and courtesy.
To my country and my people,
I pledge my devotion
It their well being and prosperity alone
lies my happiness.

PLEDGE 2

I pledge before God, whom I love and worship:
1. To be a worthy student of my school and abide by its rules.
2. To love and respect my parents and teachers, and to follow their guidance.
3. To consider all the people of the world as my brothers and sisters, for we are all creations of one God.
4. To work for the cause of world peace and the happiness of all people.
5. To develop my mind in the sciences and the arts, and to let my religion guide me in all my actions.
6. To devote my talents in the service of humanity, for by this service shall I truly serve my Lord.
7. To show sincerity, trustworthiness, and perseverance in all that I undertake to do.
8. To strive always for excellence and greater heights of achievement in my studies, and to try to grasp 100% knowledge of all my prescribed subjects.
9. To uphold the motto of "Jai Jagat" by all means, for truly I am a citizen of the world. – Jai Jagat!

WE, THE PEOPLE OF INDIA having solemnly resolved to Constitute India into a SOVEREIGN SOCIALIST SECULAR DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC and to secure to all its cizens:
JUSTICE, social, economic and polical;
